We are seeking a Community Associate passionate about racing games, gaming communities, communications and social media. Within this role you’ll will work closely with marketing and game development teams to build excitement and relationships on behalf of the franchise you work with. The ideal candidate is driven and self-motivated, a student of brand marketing and communications, and has a proven track record of community development efforts in the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
- Create Content – Blog post, articles, newsletter, communications material, and material for social media Channels with high levels of quality and timeliness
- Social Media – create, manage, and be responsible for growing the game’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties
- Content Calendar – Manage, schedule, and plan the content calendar for the aforementioned channels
- Events – Create opportunities for in-person and online events
- Analytics – Analyze and report on content performance
- Communication Skills – Provide meaningful feedback to the game’s development teams on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions
- Teammate – Collaborate with global teammates
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience with brand communications, writing, forums, and social media
- 2+ years’ experience with channel management, publishing calendars, and reporting and analytics
- Experienced in web outreach, proficiency with social media platforms and analytics.
- Familiar with project management and process improvement
- To be a self-starter: you approach challenges without fear, taking the lead where a less confident person might hesitate, always thinking about details and possible threats
- To be goal oriented: you are an innovator and you launch projects and initiatives while always thinking about the value and impact on the players
- Native speaker and excellent writing skills in Portuguese
- Fluent English
