We are seeking for an enthusiastic Localization Coordinator passionate about games, gaming community, social media and esports. The ideal candidate should be driven and self-motivated, an expert in Brazilian Portuguese language, a radar for trends and have a proven track experience with AAA games.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple project timelines between different stakeholders
- Stay in constant contact with international teams to better embed their international contexts in your day-to- day
- Coordinate and supervise tone and language on content published by Garena in Brazil
- Oversee end-to-end localization workflow (including voiceover)
- Manage localization projects and requirements across internal and external vendors
- Identify and manage project risk through prioritization, bug management, and other available options/remedies
- Drive high quality output from localization and voiceover vendors
- Participate in project kick offs & vertical meetings with cross-functional groups for planning
- Manage & train vendors, translators and reviewers
- Evangelize Globalization to stakeholders
- Proofread and QA
Requirements
- 3+ Years of experience in game localization
- Be able to accurately and authentically communicate messages across language barriers
- Passionate about games and your native language
- Working knowledge of industry standard localization tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature
- Native speaker and excellent writing skills in Portuguese
- Fluent English
