The fighting game “Soulcalibur V” will come to the brazilian stores on the second half of February, according to its developer, Namco Bandai. In the United States, the game was available on January 31st.

“Soulcalibur V” is the fifth instalment of one of the most famous fighting game franchises. It returns to consoles with more intense, weapon-based combat. Ezio Auditore, from Ubisoft’s ‘Assassin’s Creed’, is the guest character this time.

The combat system did not change much, but it introduces a new system called “Critical Edge”. When the character is constantly struck, a special gauge bar is filled. Once completed, it enables a very strong special move.

More prizes into the Dragonborn’s resumé. The honors, this time, have been granted by UOL Jogos’ team, which elected The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim the “Game of the Year” and the “Best RPG”. It won’t be long until Dovahkiin’s house in Tamriel is overrun with trophies: he counts more than 200 so far.

The team at UOL Jogos gathered twice, and made rigorous selections, choosing the nominees and, then, the winners. The complete list of nominated and winners you can find  here (in Portuguese). You can still vote on your favourites.

The epic RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has initiated a revolution in the games world. FD Comunicação was the agency chosen to divulge the game in Brasil. Among the actions, we prepared a promotion via Twitter, which involved circa 1600 fans, in two weeks. It was created a special hotsite, Elder Scrolls BR, and an official Twitter, @elderscrollsbr.
