  • Pacaembu is Going to have the Biggest eArena in Brazil

The Pacaembu will have the biggest eArena in Brazil. Pacaembu is one of the main soccer stadiums we have in Brazil. The “Pacaembu Sports Arena” will open for business in 2023, in Pacaembu, part of the government of the state of São Paulo, chosen to host the biggest eArena in Brazil and also one of the biggest in the world!  Max capacity is going to be 2.000 viewers and 100 players. The idea is that it can be used to host mainly the Battle Royale tourneys. According to Newzoo, Brazil has the third most hyped up crowd of fans in the eSports world, coming right behind China and the United States. In total, we are more than 21 million fans.

BBL eSports Will Manage The Biggest eArena in Brazil

The arrangements were done between Allegra Pacaembu, dealership responsible for managing the sports complex, and also the BBL eSports, holding of entertainment specialized in eSports. As an actual opening is foreseen for 2023, until then we are going to have to do with a provisional arena in the soccer field, with opening for 2021.

The investment will be R$ 95 million, with capacity to hold up to 2 thousand people. The main idea of the arena is to have a stage that can hold up to 100 players. The structure is going to have LED panels, with sync’d video. The concession of Pacaembu to the Allegra began in January 2020 and is valid for 35 years. Because of these reforms, that include the eSports arena, the ball is not going to spin around the arena anymore until 2023.

The BBL holds in Brazil the exclusive ELS license, the biggest company of eSports in the entire world.
